Zach Iwai

Born in Lompoc, CA and spent his early childhood in the mountains just outside of Tehachapi, CA. At 12 years old he moved to the east coast and had a troubled time as a teenager that led him to the streets of Indianapolis, ID where he learned the hard knocks of life.

Zach is an NPC competitor, with a history of overcoming a difficult adolescence and recovery after an injury in 2015 that forced him to retire from his career as a commercial / technician / mechanic for 18 years. Zach overcame depression and overweight through fitness, also finding that CBD helped him with his injury and his preparation as an athlete, so he started a supplement company at CBD (which can be found on his fitness website coming soon). Zach is a businessman, very focus and committed.

He learned how to lose weight and replace it with muscle, eating right and living a healthy life he set new goals to compete in the NPC. In 2019 Zack competed for the first time at the NPC Golden State Championship at Sacramento and took 1st place in men’s physique true novice. He is currently training with his coach Xavisus Gayden for more competitions and enjoys helping others that where just like him get on track for a healthy lifestyle.
