Lisa Krause

Lisa has been an educator almost all her life. She was a teacher for 16 years of Reading/English before becoming a school administrator. She has been an Assistant Principal and High School Supervisor for the last 7 years. In college she was a dance minor and after that continued to be active especially in kick boxing and always worked out. Lisa has a Masters in Education, Masters in Curriculum and Instruction, a Bachelor of Arts and is certified as a Principal in Pennsylvania for Grades K-12 and a Supervisor of Instruction for Grades K-12. She lived in France for 2 years where she studied and taught English and remains fluent in French. In addition to her prestigious educational background and IFBB Pro status, Lisa is a Certified Personal Trainer with NASM. She is the owner of Lisa K Fitness and Posing, where she works training and prepping competitors. Lisa is currently a test judge as well for the Mid-Atlantic Division.

About 7 years ago she entered her first NPC competition in Bikini. She remained in this division until 2 years ago when she moved into Figure. Realizing this was more her calling she began to win some major shows as a Figure athlete. Consequently, she delved in every women’s division so along with Bikini and Figure, she competed in Bodybuilding and Physique and placed top five in all divisions on the national stage.  However, it was in Figure that Lisa landed her Pro Card status at North Americans in 2019.

Teaching posing to women has come naturally for Lisa. As an educator the teacher comes through with each client, combined with her athleticism and Pro status she is the perfect posing coach. She loves posing clients and they love her. Lisa even has a full posing studio in her home where she welcomes clients but will travel to gyms and even client’s homes. In addition to posing her clients, she makes every attempt to attend her clients’ shows and coaches them every step of the way. As a Certified Personal Trainer, she is able to counsel women as well on the changes to their bodies, diet and exercise.

“The way I see it, it’s my two worlds meeting, the educator and the competitor, to form the perfect marriage of a coach/trainer and instructor. As an educator I realize that teaching is an art. So being able to convey my knowledge to athletes in a manner that they can understand, appreciate and build upon is what I do best from my experience.  As a Pro this has allowed me the forum to move forward with my knowledge of this sport of bodybuilding and create my own business.” says Lisa.

As a professional woman in this arena, Lisa believes it has not always been easy to live in both worlds, bodybuilding and a full-time career.  But bodybuilding has given Lisa an outlet for destressing and becoming someone more than an educational administrator. It has enabled her to reach new levels mentally, emotionally and physically.

Future goals are to continue to grow Lisa K Fitness and Posing and take on more clients to coach and train.  She also would like to combine another love of hers which is fashion. Lisa would like to create her own gym wear line that is comfortable, yet fashionable that women can wear from the gym to the store to even a night out.

“Life is about continuing to improve but ultimately what education has taught me is that it’s equally important to serve. If you have that mindset to serve others and help them achieve their goals, you are evolving to become a better person overall.”
