Jacques Lyles

Born in Minneapolis MN. Jacques was raised by his mom for the majority of his life. “She raised me and my 4 sisters that lived with us. I have 11 more siblings on my dads side of the family. We all grew up playing sports I was the 2 oldest of all my siblings. I grew up with this ambition to be the best me possible and to be the best in whatever I do”, says @mr.phys1que

Jacques played sports all throughout middle school, high school and went to run track at a community college. Says he had always looked up to and knew about bodybuilders because of how they are very disciplined with what their passionate about. “I knew I could and wanted to become a bodybuilder and compete in 2017 after my first year of college. So I left and came back home after I got injured in track and did what made me happy everyday”

“I started my journey when I was 19 in 2017. I was 130lbs coming out of college and didn’t know the first thing to becoming a body builder or where to start. So I went to a gym that was recommended to me “Los Campeones” which I’m still there until this day. I’ve met trainers that are IFBB PROS. got a membership and asked questions along the way. Most common thing I was told was to “eat all day everyday, make sure using the correct form and to give every rep and set your all”. I had two trainers along this journey. Lamar Jamelle and Charles Griffin. Ever since then I put my head down suck to my schedule worked my ass off and never made an excuse. I will be competing at the end of this year for my first time getting on stage”.
