Eugenia Xie

Eugenia is 26 years old, born and raised in San Francisco, currently residing in the South Bay Area. She’s currently pursuing her bachelor in Business Administration. Eugenia also holds a NASM Personal Training Certification and is an NPC Bikini Competitor working towards earning her pro card. Her parents immigrated from Guangzhou, China to San Francisco in the nineties to provide their family with a better life. Growing up in a traditional Chinese family in America was never easy due to conflicting cultures and expectations. “I had a rough childhood and as a teenager, I had a lack of support to achieve my goals. This had a huge negative impact on my self-esteem as I questioned myself”.

Eugenia moved to the South Bay in 2017 to start over and saw fitness as a healthy outlet even without knowing anything about working out. “I was never the athletic type growing up. I went into 24-hour fitness and signed up with a personal trainer, worked with her for 7 months to build a foundation for myself. After learning the fundamentals of training, I was curious and looked into bodybuilding and competing”.

In 2018, Eugenia signed up with Coach Nico Abaya, who monitor her progress, diet/supplement regimen. His wife, Delilah Abaya worked with her on posing routines. In Eugenia’s first show she earned her 1st place win in all her classes; True Novice, Novice and Open bikini, which qualified her for Nationals. Her second show was Spectrum Fitness Productions NorCal Championship in June 2019 where she placed 5th in Novice Bikini and 9th in Open Bikini. The third show, Eugenia competed in MuscleSport San Francisco Championship and earned her 1st place win in Novice and Open bikini. She then qualified again for Nationals.

“I compete because it challenges me as an athlete and as an individual. I love the process and disciple I gain through the process. There is no limitation on your goals. I want people to be aware of this and inspire others”: says @miss__eugeniax
